Tulleys Christmas Light Festival

Every winter, Tulleys Farm turns its woodland, lakes and open ground at Turners Hill into a light festival. mediaPro supplied the projection and LED tube lighting behind several of its main attractions, all built to run outdoors through a UK winter. The centrepiece is the lakeside windmill, which is brilliantly projection-mapped to transform into an 11-metre gingerbread house. Using weather-housed projectors, an animated Christmas story plays across the structure, calibrated to its turning blades. In the Merry Magic area, a row of LED Christmas trees is pixel-mapped, shifting colour and moving in perfect time with the show. Rain, frost and snow were the main constraints, so the equipment was weather-rated and housed to keep running night after night, and a dedicated full-fibre network let the team monitor it remotely. The team also worked alongside the site's other departments so schedules and control systems fitted together across the farm.
